SUPPORT & FAQ
Practical answers for the current product preview. Final installation instructions and release documentation will be published before launch.
Native simulation testing and release qualification are ongoing. No public installer or confirmed release date is available yet.
IN THE WORKSPACE
The current preview keeps execution state separate from your saved account setup.
Check the account, contract, ATM template, and sizing. Use simulation and preview to inspect the planned workflow before enabling submissions.
Order Notes & Command Log can collapse on either tab. Recording continues in the same open window, and a new-message count tells you when there is more to read.
A connection interruption stops copying and disarms ATM execution. Reconnecting does not restart either. Review each account before starting again.
The planned release is a NinjaTrader 8 desktop add-on for Windows. You will need a compatible NinjaTrader installation, the accounts you intend to use, and the appropriate account connections and permissions. Final supported versions will be listed with the release.
A public release package is not available yet. Installation steps, licensing details, and known limitations will accompany the qualified release. There is no download button on this preview.
No. The product is being built to organize execution and copy instructions that you initiate. It does not choose trades, provide market recommendations, or promise trading results.
Compatibility and account permissions depend on your NinjaTrader connection and the provider’s rules. A connected account is not a promise of supported copying or permission to use it. Check your provider’s requirements and the final compatibility notes.
Yes, that is a core part of the execution design. Each enabled route has its own account, instrument, and native ATM template selection.
Profiles organize separate sets of account routes and hotkeys. They let you keep different setups together without rebuilding the same route list each time. Switching profiles requires a review before arming.
Dry run lets the execution panel validate and report planned actions while it remains disarmed. Review the activity output and account routes before enabling real order submission.
Contract choices and stored profiles are being validated against NinjaTrader’s rollover data. Existing orders or positions must not be silently retargeted to a new contract. Verify the selected contract before every session.
Yes. Use Show or Hide in the bottom header on either ATM Execution or Copy Trading. Collapsing gives the account rows more space and keeps recording messages in the current window. The header counts new messages while hidden. Expanding it reveals the latest activity; session status stays visible below the panel.
The planned flow asks for acceptance when a new ATM Commander window is opened. The same open window does not repeatedly ask while NinjaTrader remains running. Final acknowledgment language is still being prepared.
The design covers new entries, stop and target orders, order changes, and cancellations from a leader to configured followers. Native simulation qualification is still in progress.
Independent copy sessions are part of the Pro design. Each profile has its own leader, instrument, and followers. A follower route must not receive conflicting instructions from overlapping sessions.
Exact follows the leader order quantity. Ratio applies the configured multiplier. Fixed is designed around a chosen entry size with protective exits allocated to that trade. Fixed sizing and fractional ratios remain preview-only while partial fills and replacement orders are validated.
The current copier mirrors supported order instructions; it does not send extra market orders to force follower fills to match the leader. Fill quantities can differ. Persistent observed position differences put an affected follower into review, blocking new submissions and changes. Existing orders still need your attention.
No. Connection timing, liquidity, rejections, and account-specific restrictions can produce different fills or positions. Copying instructions cannot make independent accounts behave identically.
The planned first release is local to one NinjaTrader instance. Remote copying, cloud execution, and cross-platform copying are not part of the current release scope.
The current workflow requires the selected accounts and contract to be flat with no active orders when starting a copy session. The copier is not intended to adopt an existing open trade.
The current build stops an affected copy session and disarms ATM execution when a relevant connection interruption is detected. Reconnecting does not restart copying, re-arm execution, or replay earlier orders. Review positions and working orders on every affected account. A new copy session requires the selected accounts and contract to be flat with no active orders.
An order problem has blocked new entries for that follower. Read the specific message in Order Notes & Command Log: some faults allow tracked protective orders to continue, while a review requirement also blocks submissions and changes. The copier does not automatically retry an uncertain order or repair the position. Check actual orders and positions in NinjaTrader before restarting.
No. Stopping the session leaves existing orders and positions unchanged. Review and manage those orders through the appropriate account controls.
No. A per-order quantity limit is not a daily loss limit, a total exposure limit, or a guarantee against loss. Monitor account positions, working orders, and provider restrictions separately.
Inspect the orders and positions on every affected account. Use the platform and broker’s account-management procedures to address live exposure. Do not assume that restarting a copier will repair a mismatch.
